Most lakes, rivers, drains and canals will have a population of Eels but predominantly found in rivers. HABITS: Eels are solitary fish. DIET: The natural diet includes anything edible that moves - insects, larvae, small fish. BAITS: Popular baits include: Worms and dead bait. METHOD: A variety of fishing methods are popular with anglers for this fish, including float and ledger.
