is tidal so take care. You have been warned!

The lake at in St. George's Park has been fished by locals for years.
The main species are carp and roach, perch which are on the increase and odd
Tench make an appearance. We have been informed that there are even some Wels
Catfish lurking around.

Abbots Pool, Abbots Leigh, Near Bristol.

Abbots Pool is tucked away in the region of Leigh Woods, formerly part of
the Robinsons Estate. This small lake with an island in the centre raised
on stone pillars, providing shelter for a small number of double
figure carp. Other species; Roach, Perch and Tench (5lb+).
The only drawback
to Abbots Pool incidence of theft from vehicles. Cars may not be driven right
down and parked by the lake. Anglers must use the car park provided; 100m from
the lake and obscured from view by the trees.
Directions: From the A369 turn down the lane at the right hand side of the
George Pub, after about 500m on the right follow the farm access track for
Orchard Farm. The car park is after 50m on the right. Access the pool via
the track.

fishing at the EA Ripple Fishery - fishing from the left bank down stream
of the car park for 1.9km. The first 400mtrs are for individual anglers.
The other area can be booked for weekend matches. Fishing for Barbel, Chub,
Trout and Salmon
