Pulling the hook gently through the end of the loop.
Wet the line thoroughly! (Saliva is best!) Hold the hook gently and pull the two ends of the line in opposite directions allowing the wet line to slide into the knot at the eye of the hook. Trim off the excess line about 2 - 3mm from the knot. The palomar knot is now complete!
